About Me

I am a passionate photographer based in the picturesque Hillcrest, KZN with my husband and son. Photography is more than just a profession for me; it’s a way of life, a way to capture the essence of moments that would otherwise slip away. My journey into photography began with one of the most significant events of my life—the birth of my son, Harry. As a mom, I quickly realized how fleeting those precious moments are, and it became my mission to preserve them, not just for myself but for others as well.

Over the years, my love for photography has grown alongside my love for family and the simple, beautiful moments that define our lives. I’m also an avid animal lover, sharing my home with two energetic dogs and a curious cat. They’ve taught me that every living being has a story to tell, and I’ve made it my goal to capture those stories, whether they belong to people, pets, or the natural world around us.

In addition to my work as a photographer, I’m also on the path to becoming a foundation phase teacher. This experience has deepened my understanding of how important it is to nurture and capture the developmental stages of childhood, from those first tentative steps to the confident strides of a young learner. I bring this understanding into my photography, focusing on creating a relaxed, natural environment where children and families can be themselves.

My photography style is all about authenticity. I aim to capture real moments—the joy, the laughter, the love, and even the quiet, introspective times. Whether it’s a family portrait, a candid shot at a special event, or a serene landscape that speaks to the beauty of nature, I strive to create images that resonate with emotion and tell a story.

Traveling is another passion of mine, and I love exploring new places with my camera in hand, capturing the unique charm of different locations. Whether at home in Hillcrest or on the road, I’m always on the lookout for those perfect moments that deserve to be remembered.
